Time: 2:30PM – 4:30PM

All employees that “offer for transport” a hazardous material (or hazardous waste) are required to receive awareness level of training that covers Department of Transportation topics. Metal finishers that package and label containers, prepare or sign manifests or place containers on a transport vehicle are included.

Training topics will cover:

• Classification of hazardous material
• Drum closure procedures
• Container labeling and marking
• Shipping papers
• Loading and placarding vehicles
• Emergency procedures
• Hazardous material security

SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING FOR THE SUPERVISOR

Time: 2:30PM – 4:30PM

Sexual harassment training is mandatory by law for all organizations, but the most important goal is to create a safe and harassment-free environment for all employees.

This training session will review what constitutes sexual harassment (including sexual preference discrimination), violence at work, bullying in the workplace, and how to develop the skills necessary for a positive and safe work environment. Also, we will explain how to handle a complaint of harassment.
